BALLET FLATS FOR SPRING

Till a few seasons ago I could literally count on the fingers of one hand the number of flats residing in my wardrobe. The only reason why I was choosing to torture my feet instead of taking the comfy path was the fact that finding an elegant alternative to heels was a sort of “mission impossible” – more than once I would have craved for some elegant flats, especially during a formal event; and I bet I wasn’t the only one. Taking their cue from the classic ballet slippers, the designers came up with some gorgeously romantic alternatives, threaded with wrap-around satin ribbons or laces that tie at the ankle, perfectly framing the foot. Conquered by the sea of delicate styles the online stores have to offer, I selected a few go-to favorites, along with some classic ballet slippers, to enhance my looks come spring.
