BACK TO THE FUTURE

Fashion insiders use to say that three is a trend, four ‘s a party and six is a cult- if we were to guide our radars after this quote, it looks like fall is going sci-fi.  So if that’s the case, let there be geeks –or better said, let there be chic-geeks. RODARTE took the Star Wars theme quite literally, printing their gowns with giant pics of Luke Skywalker and R2-D2. PREEN showed his loyalty to Darth Vader by printing the character’s portrait on bright hued sweaters. At ALEXANDER WANG the idea was more subtle, with a series of high-tech inspired looks—focusing on a statement message, the best is yet to come.
