CINDERELLA FLATS

 I can really count on the fingers of one hand how many times I went shopping for flats in the last few years – ok, I may be exaggerating now, but what I’m trying to point is that I was not a “flats” kind of girl. The only reason why I was choosing to torture my feet instead of taking the comfy path was the fact that finding an elegant alternative to heels was a sort of “mission impossible” – more than once I would have literally killed for some elegant flats, especially during a formal event; and I bet I wasn’t the only one.

Like listening to our thoughts, these last few seasons designers came up with some really stylish alternatives to heels and, conquered by this trend, I decided to invest in a few pairs.

Swimming in the sea of styles showcased in the online stores, I popped into this wonderful pair of point-toe flats from Rochas. The iridescent silver leather and the crystal embellishments immediately made me thinking of Cinderella– in fact, I’m sure that if she would have lived in our days, she would have chosen to wear them at the meeting with destiny.

Almost hypnotized, I am thinking of buying these babes – after all, we all need to live a fairytale every now and then!
