DRESSING UP THE DENIM SKIRT

There are times – especially when I’m kind of “en retard” – when I step inside my walk-in closet with the ambition to find a long-forgotten piece, that has the power to upgrade my appearance in no-time, helping me score some extra style points with no effort at all. Where would it be? Lost among the myriad of clothes waiting patiently on the racks, pieces that have somehow lost their power to take me from pretty plain to pretty chic. The first few minutes of search, I realize my closet holds no hidden style gem inside, so I grab one of my summer go-to outfits: denim skirt + white tee & a pair of white sneakers – that’s it, ready to go.
