HOMEMADE BATH SALT RECIPES
With the cold season in full swing, I can’t think of anything more relaxing than a hot bath after a long, hectic day – even better if the aforementioned is enriched with scented oils, bath bombs or, my personal favorite, bath salts. And because as I mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of natural, homemade beauty products I decided to create my own bath salt recipe using only a few easy to find ingredients. You can try it too by following the steps below – it would make an amazing Christmas gift!
What I used:
2 ½ cups EPSOM salt
1/3 cup sea salt
1 tsp. almond oil
10 drops of your favorite essential oil (I used lavender for the first jar and ylang ylang for the second one)
A few drops of food coloring (you can skip this step if you want)
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together (if you use more than one essential oil, make sure to use different bowls for each of the scents and colors); leave to rest for a few minutes and place them to a jar. If you want to gift it, wrap the jar with a colorful ribbon and attach a hand-written message to the tag (I skipped this step as I want to use both of the jars in the pics for my own pampering). Enjoy!
