INSIDE MY BEACH BAG

Summer – the days are soaked in the fiery sunlight, forcing beads of sweat down on the foreheads of anyone who defies it, taking by foot the metropolitan inferno around noontime – we asked for it (at least I have) in the past few months, whenever the chilly wind kissed our faces in a friendly manner, making us wonder: “how would my new lime-hued bikini look on my tanned-to-be skin”? “Can hardly wait to find out”.  Trading my ripped-jeans + tee- uniform for cotton-voile tunics and lightweight silk dresses, my black leather tote for a roomy straw bag, I feel like there’s no other chance to escape the wave of heat than finding a shadowy place, somewhere by the water – preferably on the beach, but the swimming pool would do just fine – doing nothing but laying on a hammock, a with a book in one hand and a fruit-infused water in the other, till the evening chills-down the burning soil. As expected, these daily incursions by the water brought along a few updates in my beach-bag – the list of products I don’t leave home without when heading to the beachside/swimming pool, down-below.
