The Late-Santa Gift Guide – 50 Christmas Gifts Under $50

Winter Holidays…and the things that strike my mind when thinking about their imminent approach – should I buy golden decorations for the tree or it’s fine to stick to the purple ones I used last Christmas? How many guests do I have to invite? “Have” – I don’t know well enough most of the relatives that are supposed to come over for the Christmas dinner so I find myself in the impossibility of stating that I “want” to invite them. And of course, gifts…what to buy for my close ones? And what will I receive? I must admit, the process of giving fills my heart with an equal amount of excitement as the process of receiving – especially when the presents I choose for the loved ones satisfy their expectations. There’s nothing worse than an uninspired gift – I learned it on my own skin when my mother’s Santa made a habit out of bringing me a pajama every Christmas, for around three-four years, till unwilling to experience this deja-vu situation again, I wrote him a letter saying I already have enough pajamas and that predictable gifts kill all the fun of opening a present.
