THE PATH TO THICKER EYEBROWS

There’s no need to bring the tweezers back into our lives – at least that’s what the explosion of dense, bold eyebrows spotted on the F/W 2015 runways seemed to communicate the audience almost obsessively, encouraging us to embrace our natural – or better said “wild” – side by letting these hairy babes grow in their own free will. This seems like a fun, easy to adopt trend but a few weeks after beginning the process of restoring your eyebrows their long lost glory, you’ll realize the path to Cara Delevigne’s fierce look is like a race full of obstacles. Why? I bet those years of over plucking and waxing would be able to answer this question for each of us. Because I don’t know anyone who would appreciate the cartoonish feel of the painted eyebrows and because the eyebrow pen can’t replace all the damage we made through the years, I searched for a few natural remedies to help super-thin eyebrows regain their craved-for bushy look – after all, the eyebrows are the frame of our face, isn’t it?

  1. COCONUT OIL

Full of proteins and nutrients like the Vitamin E, coconut oil will help in the regeneration of your eyebrows in a matter of few months. Put a few drops of coconut oil on your fingertips, then massage your eyebrows for a few minutes to increase blood circulation in the area.  Not a fan of coconut oil? Almond oil, castor oil and olive oil are also amazing when it comes to eyebrow growth.

  1. EGG YOLK

Rich in Keratin, egg yolks help your eyebrows grow fast and dense. It can also improve the health of the hair, providing your eyebrows a glossy look. Beat the yolk of an egg till you get a creamy consistency and apply on each of the eyebrows using an eyepad. Leave for 20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.

  1. ONION JUICE

The scent of this one is not among the most pleasant but it works wonders on your brows. Just soak a cotton pad in the juice of an onion and massage it on your eyebrows for a few minutes. Rinse with cold water – in a few weeks you’ll see it was worth the pain.
