LOOK DE JOUR –SUPER BRIGHT MAKEUP

So long smoky eyes…welcome super light make-up!

All I can say is what a relief –the long hours of struggling to achieve that dramatic look so craved for in the past few seasons are now destined to become nothing but a memory. The Fall runways were flooding with girls showcasing ultra-bright complexions, as if they were sleeping continuously for days before the shows. One of the greatest supporters of this look is Prabal Gurung whose collection inspired by a trip to Nepal, has three main features: “great skin,” “beautiful hair,” and “tactile clothes.”  Make-up artist Diane Kendal, in charge with the models flawless look, turned to MAC Cosmetics Face and Body foundation to even their complexions, giving that bright, healthy finish by using the same brand’s Eye Kohl in Fascinating (a white pencil) on the lower waterlines.

Once the secret revealed, I just had to test the benefits of this white kohl on my own complexion… It really works –you should try it yourselves if you crave for that “sleeping beauty” look without actually sleeping!
