Summer is officially behind, and although the gentle temperatures could trick us into thinking otherwise, there’s only a matter of weeks till autumn’s moody weather will regain its power over our lives and wardrobes – not so bad, considering there are some seriously fashionable trends out there waiting to enhance our gloomy days, not to mention the upcoming fashion weeks, a feast to the eyes and a gold-mine for the inspiration. Struggling to find an appropriate way to mark the first day of autumn in a fashion-forward way, I gathered together this year’s most coveted September Issues – if asked about the things I associate the month we just welcomed to, September Issues would definitely be among my firsts – celebrity-flooding covers, reviews of the fall-winter trends plus jaw-dropping editorials, it just doesn’t get any better than this. Although some of you already have them on your desks, coffee table, etc. and probably studied consciously their each and every page – here’s a short recap of this year’s best September Issues, along with the stars that made it on the cover. 1. VOGUE JAPAN
WHO? Claudia Schiffer, Nadja Auermann, Stephanie Seymour, Linda Evangalista and Naomi Campbell.
WHY? In celebration of the magazine’s 15th anniversary, Vogue Japan gathered together the 90’s most famous supermodels, proving once again that beauty can be timeless.
2. VOGUE U.S.
WHO? Joan Smalls, Cara Delevigne, Karlie Kloss
WHY? Some of the moment’s most iconic faces land their first cover together and although it isn’t nearly as exciting as the Vogue Japan issue, it can easily be marked as a keeper
3. HARPER’S BAZAAR U.S.
WHO? Linda Evangelista
WHY? Epitomizing the return of the supermodels, Bazaar US hosts on its cover one of fashion’s most iconic faces – and the result could be nothing but gorgeous
4. ELLE UK
WHO? Kate Upton
WHY? The famous new-generation model talks about her curvy figure in the new issue of ELLE UK – I must say her Prada coat is amazing
5. VOGUE UK
WHO? Cara Delevigne
WHY? Fashion’s IT girl landed her second September Issue cover for Vogue – this time the UK version -, proofing once again she’s the star of the new-generation supermodels
6. MARIE CLAIRE U.S.
WHO? Blake Lively
WHY? The actress scores one more magazine cover, this time landing on the 20th anniversary issue of the Marie Claire US
7. ELLE U.S.
WHO? Kristen Stewart
WHY? Hosting the cover of ELLE US, the actress talks about her impossibility to please everyone, in a setting inspired by Chanel’s supermarket runway show
8. IN STYLE
WHO? Kate Bosworth
WHY? Sporting a Valentino dress, the actress looks ultra-glamorous on the cover of INSTYLE US – the inside edit is just as fabulous as the cover
9. TEEN VOGUE
WHO? Kendall Jenner
WHY? Her dream of landing on the cover of Vogue has finally come true – as a consolation for being featured on the TEEN VOGUE edition, she got not one, but two covers, so we can be able to choose from, or better yet, buy them both as a collector’s edition
