MELLOW YELLOW

Different shades of blue, sugary pastels or vivid prints…the spring collections are spoiling us with a large array of colors, recharging our wardrobes with tons of energy, needed after surviving a long, moody season.

Aiming for a wardrobe refresh to match the sunny weather, I decided to let go the ocean of neutrals flooding my closet, replacing them with bright-colored pieces, perfect for celebrating the bloomy season. Though at the beginning pastels and quiet silhouettes were as far as I would adventure myself in the land of hues, here I am now, trying to satisfy my lust for color in an edgier way – vibrant tones of yellow, deep greens or shades of red have suddenly become my no.1 interest, leaving aside every prejudice I’ve ever had about wearing color.

Among them, the one closer to my heart, my go-to every time I’m trying to make a lasting impression is definitely YELLOW. This vivid color fills me with an incredible amount of energy and I must confess it helped me get over my obsession for neutrals.
