MUST-HAVES FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN – PART I
Though I’m not a constant reader of the horoscope and I don’t plan my French lessons according to Susan Miller’s monthly predictions, I would lie to say I change the channel when the morning news anchor reveals the previsions for the day. However, I’m much more opened to research when it comes to certain birth features of each of the zodiac signs – this doesn’t mean that everyone born under the sign of TAURUS possesses the same amount of charm as George Clooney, nor that all the GEMINIS will become screen writers but, over the years I noticed some profile similarities between the “same star” persons. Guided by the aforementioned and by my love for everything related to beauty, I tried to find a makeup essential for each of the zodiac signs, posting them in two parts, the first six signs today, the other half, later this week. Let me know if I nailed it!
ARIES
You’re independent, honest and you love to have fun – who wouldn’t like to be around you? I’m not talking about those moments when you become anxious and critical. Nor about those situations when you abandon a million projects the moment you realize they aren’t going to be perfect – as of course, would have suited your ultracompetitive nature. Your must-have beauty product? A professional nail-care kit – you’d rather do something useful than pretending to listen one of your co-worker’s repetitive stories. Who cares about Jenna winning the lottery? As long as it’s not about you, why bother anyway?
TAURUS
Although you’re not what the others might consider an open-book, you are loyal, courageous and ready to help everyone in need – by “everyone” I mean the ones who you allow to become a part of your life, without letting them invade too much of your private space – your thoughts are most likely to be considered one of the greatest mysteries of the human kind. Though from the outside you might be seen as the mother of the wounded, you do everything in your power to avoid taking responsibility for your actions whenever you feel like the situation calls it. Your must-have beauty product? A powder compact – when you perfect your makeup in the tiny mirror, you’ll most likely see the one responsible for the “not-so-great moments of your life” starring at you from the other side of the mirror.
GEMINI
Along with the fun, ultra-curious nature, along with the kind heart and easiness to make friends comes the double-trouble as some of the ones who know Geminis might say – one moment you’re the soul of the party, the next one you go sit in a quiet corner having as an only companion the glass in your hand; one moment you love green, the other you talk about your perennial devotion to everything pink – with you, each day seems like a day of the Mad Hatter’s life – at least no one can complain to get bored around you. I kind of know everything about how you can transform into nerve-wracking machines, being a Gemini myself. Your must-have beauty product? An eyeshadow palette (with at least 50 colors inside), to keep you from getting bored with yourself.
CANCER
Though from the outside you might seem kind and carrying, your ultra-protective nature can sometimes annoy the others – remember, the ones who aren’t 12 anymore can usually take care of themselves. You absolutely love to talk for hours, giving the others tips on how to bake a sponge cake without burning it or on how to choose the best furniture at Ikea. You are an ocean of emotions and those who don’t know you might easily get drown in it. Your best makeup product? A concealer, to hide all those worries away – and maybe help you realize that the neighbors kids, your co-workers, even the dog you saw the other day in the park, they can all take good care of themselves without any of your help.
LEO
The king – or better said, the queen of the jungle – positive and charismatic, you love to steal the spotlight whenever the situation demands it – also when it doesn’t. Ruled by your heart, you are totally devoted to your close ones, ready to jump in fire for their well-being. You demand the same amount of attention you give even if it comes under the shape of chocolate truffles, flowers or Chanel slingbacks. VIRGO
