With the temperatures reaching barely bearable quotes and the sun showing its strength until late in the afternoon, all I can dream of these days is to escape the dusty city, heading towards a relaxing sea-side destination, where I could spend my days lying on the beach with a drink in one hand and an entertaining book in the other, doing close to nothing all day – I could keep going on with this way of living forever, or at least till the first autumn showers would chase me away, forcing me to return to the fuss of the city. Getting back to a reality where such a project is most likely to remain just a dream for the rest of the summer, the only option left to satisfy my hunger of sea-side relaxation is spending my every weekend by the pool, drinking lemon water in the shadow of a tree. And because a pool-side day represents a solid reason for the purchase of a new swimsuit – let’s face it, every reason can get solid enough when it comes to a swimsuit purchase – I started hunting for some fashion-forward swimwear, to provide me that Riviera-ready feel, whenever I put it on. After the first hours of search, I got more than excited to check out the bikini crowd displayed in the boutiques – printed one pieces, with a retro flare, encrusted with Swarovski crystals or in pale colors, with a ladylike appeal. With these little babes waiting to steal the spotlight, who needs a glamorous setting to enjoy summer?
