TRAVEL BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
Every time I go on a journey, no matter how short, having to pack my cosmetics into a medium-sized suitcase next to my other important stuff like clothing and shoes gives me some sort of anxiety. The kind that keeps me from doing anything properly, throwing me into a classical, three-act play: the first 20 minutes fly while I stare at the suitcase without doing anything, almost like I’m trying to hypnotize it into getting a bit bigger; in the second part, realizing that time is running out I start to run back and forth, putting stuff in and out the suitcase for hours, without any result. The third part is when, not getting anywhere by being stubborn I give up on some of the things sucked in my gigantic cosmetic case.
After all who needs two different types of make-up remover, a moisturizer based on oil, another one based on gel, day and night eye-contour cream, an anti-stress mask and an exfoliator? This of course, without even counting the make-up products – that list could go on and on, consuming all the space prepared for this post.
Trying to solve this situation in a win-win manner, I made a list of the best travel-essentials and I promise to stick to it. This way, I’ll take proper care of my complexion and I’ll have some extra-space for my shoes.
1. Make-up remover cloths
They are really practical, occupying less space than a bottled make-up remover – plus,
they’re great for both the face and the eyes.
2. Toner
It cleans the face while hydrating it, for a fresh result after long hours of flying.
3. An SPF BB cream
Who said we can’t have it all, has obviously never seen a BB cream. What can be
better than a moisturizer that corrects the skin’s imperfections while protecting
against the UV?
4. Pure Argan Oil for Face and Body
This organic product works its magic on both face and body, leaving every inch of
our skin nourished in a natural way.
5. Mineral Water Spray
A Mineral Water Spray provides us a natural, handy way to refresh your complexion
6. A lip-color balm
This 2 in 1 color balm dresses the lips into a glossy color while nourishing them, for
the softest results.
7. A blush
A natural shade blush is a true life-saver whenever our cheeks are in desperate
need of a boost of color.
8. A luminizing pen
After a night in the clubs the luminizing pen becomes our best friend – it brings light
and radiance to the skin, erasing immediately any signs of fatigue.
9. Mascara
A jet-black mascara that lengthens and curls is great for adding a little drama
to our look, both day and night.
10. A 5-Color Eyeshadow
A five-color eye shadow palette is great for the times when we want to add
a splash of color to our eyes.
