NATURAL WAYS TO GET LONGER LASHES

NATURAL WAYS TO GET LONGER LASHES

“You have really pretty eyes”, “I could get lost in your eyes” – though always nice to hear it, there are moments you might begin to wonder why are the exact same words coming out of the mouths of the ones trying to flatter you – do they mean it? Are the eyes a woman’s only asset? What about the mouth? The woman you see each morning in the bathroom’s mirror has more qualities than beautiful eyes…

We all crave for unique and totally surprising compliments, but there might be a reason why the others are more attracted to our eyes than with any other part of our body:  the eyelashes. Thick, long eyelashes, full of drama and mystery – who could resist them? The answer lies in our perpetual search of the latest mascaras and different lash-enhancing products most of us already tried more than once.  However, taking the natural path is always rewarding so if you’re into growing naturally beautiful lashes, here are a few steps to follow:

KEEP YOUR EYES CLEAN

Taking a proper care of your eyelashes is part of the deal: remove your makeup and clean your eyes every night before bed.

COMB YOUR LASHES

A great way to get longer lashes is to brush them regularly with a special lash-comb. Repeat the trick at least once a week to see best results.

USE OILS

After your evening eye cleaning rut, apply a few drops of oil on your lashes. Castor oil, olive oil or jojoba oil are among the best to choose from. Great sources of vitamins, each of them will moisturize your lashes, helping them grow fuller and longer in a matter of weeks.

USE GREEN TEA

Boil a few leaves of green tea in less water than usual. Add in a tbsp. olive oil and mix well. Then apply a few drops of the mixture on your lashes every night before bed. A great anti-oxidant, green tea will promote the growth of your eyelashes, keeping you away from the allergies; olive oil will moisturize your lashes while promoting their healing. Use the mask at least few times a week for best results – and make sure you don’t get any of it into your eyes.

TRIM YOUR LASHES

Trim a very small part of your lashes in order to stimulate the follicle of your lashes and helping them grow faster.

MASSAGE YOUR EYELIDS

Another way to stimulate your hair follicles is massaging your eyelids – repeating two-three times a week will result in fuller, difficult to break eyelashes.

TAKE VITAMIN E

Taking Vitamin E supplements every day – not for too long, though – will increase the volume of your lashes in no-time, promoting their health and strength.
